one of the reasons i travel is colors. i am in love with colors. and color palate.
i just got back from a few weeks of many colors to pick from and i will share a few of the images. what will i do with all the colors is another story to be told soon.

Opps... Are at times a good thing~

Bassinet in sheer Gray organza with silk underlay. It was done for one of our customers. We found out it was wrong as she wanted only the bows in gray.
Soooo.... we are re-making the one she wanted, but I am keeping this one and will sell it as I love it~ an oops.... is at times a good thing~

The most Popular Baby Names for 2010~

Dying to know what everyone else is naming their baby? The Social Security Administration just released its list of the most popular baby names for 2010, and it's a lot like last year's list -- with Jacob and Isabella leading the pack. And just two new names made the top 10: Aiden and Anthony for boys. (The girls' top 10 is exactly the same as 2009, just in a different order.) Here's the list:

Okay, so we're not totally surprised by this list. Want to know what other names are getting trendy? Well, luckily, those peeps over at the SSA also track popularity changes. They found that Bentley, Kellan and Knox had the biggest jumps in rank for boys, and Maci, Giuliana and Tiana are becoming more common for girls.

Nava's Designs is going back to Antiques, Lets all give the old world a New Look~

Back in the day, 20 years ago, I was in love with Antique stores, Antique fairs, shows and anything related to antiques.


Nowadays I still keep lots of these items in my house, but I must admit that the love I had has been replaced with a new style of decor. I always love to add on pieces I have collected in the years I was collecting antiques.

While I was visiting Fort Worth, TX, I stopped in an Antique Mall. I was sorry so see such a grand mall empty of visitors, not even stopping to browse. Let's all go back and give the old world a new look. Nava's Designs will do a new "old set" for 2012... I promise!

I do believe the modern trends will step aside and people will go back to old and beautiful again.
